In celebration of World Book Day 2022, award-winning author Anita Frost will be hosting a live interactive storytime session with Green Bean & Friends. This fun and educational community event will bring the much-loved characters from the Green Bean Collection to life with exciting storytelling. The event will be held at St Margaret Ward Catholic Primary School on Friday 4th March 2022 between 10-11.15 am. Tickets are free, but booking is essential - there are just a few spaces left so be sure to get in quick to avoid disappointment! Children will have the option to Stay & Play after storytime for just £2, which includes tea and coffee for parents/carers. Our storytime sessions are a great way for children aged one to seven years old to experience the fun adventures and lovable characters as they are immersed in the exciting world of Adventure Dales with Green Bean & Friends. The stories have a broad appeal and are enjoyed by children and parents from all walks of life.
Live storytelling and author events are a fantastic way to engage young readers and nurture a love of reading and learning throughout their lives. As well as being able to experience the storytime session, children will also have the opportunity to have their books signed on the day by the author, giving them a wonderful keepsake to take home and cherish.
