Come along, meet Anita Frost and the Green Bean team...We are thrilled to announce that award-winning author Anita Frost will be making a special guest appearance in the coming weeks as Green Bean and the team visit Friends of Stockley Park in Appley Bridge! It is going to be an action-packed, fun-filled day for the whole family, featuring live storytelling sessions with Anita, bouncy castles, engaging children's activities, and a grand Green Bean Hunt where young fans can explore and connect with their favourite characters.
Designed in line with early childhood development, our interactive storytime events inspire children to nurture a love of reading, explore their creativity, and build confidence through play and outdoor adventures. Event Details:

Spend time with the Green Bean family...Attention all Green Bean fans! If you are in the Trafford area, don’t miss out on an exciting event at the library this Saturday. It’s a wonderful chance to spend time with the Green Bean family and meet multi-award-winning author Anita Frost, who will be on-site to sign books and engage with her young fans. Join us for a day filled with Green Bean crafts and the perfect opportunity to explore and expand your collection. Part of the Trafford Celebration of Reading, this event is ideal for families looking for morning activities or a fun afternoon outing. The festivities will run from 10:30 am until 3:30 pm—come along and make a full day of it! About the Event Trafford’s Celebration of Reading is a free literary gathering held at Urmston Library. Co-organised by Trafford Libraries and Urmston Books and Board Games, this unique blend of book fair and festival features talks, workshops for all ages, and an exhibition for local authors to showcase their latest work to the community. While entry to the event and book fair is completely FREE, please note that space for specific workshops and author talks is limited.
