Anita embarked on a journey combining social science, innovation, and creativity to establish Green Bean Studios, the home of the world of Green Bean, and its retail arm, the Green Bean Collection®. As a business woman eager to address some of society’s most important issues, including children’s emotional and social development delays, children's mental health and the ecological crisis.
Anita wanted to get to the heart of the issue and began researching the key contributing factors; children are spending less time outdoors, and this is showing a result in an increasing range of behavioural and attainment challenges in children.

A note from the founder
Drawing on my child development and business experience, I started Green Bean Studios® as a business woman eager to address some of society's most important issues including children’s mental health, excess screen time, and childhood obesity. To get to the heart of the issue, I started looking at the key contributing factors. When children are exposed to too much tech, with little or no outdoor play, and reduced time outdoors at school and nursery, it negatively impacts their mental and physical health and wellbeing. In addition to children's health, the health of our planet is at the core of the business.
My aim is to help educate and inspire families globally to nurture the environment, enjoy the world's natural resources, and live healthier and greener lives. Children are at the heart of everything I do, and I'm passionate about creating fun books, ECO toys, games, music and wholesome entertainment media that help to educate and inspire children, developing key skills, and enabling their creativity to flourish. I'm proud to have created a brand and products that children and parents adore, and keep coming back to time and time again. Supporting young children with their learning and reading is incorporated into every aspect of the business; even TV shows can support this if done with the right intentions, and our plans to develop the Green Bean Collection® stories into a children's animated TV series will have education and learning through fun at its core. -x- Anita Frost -x-
