Independent BookstoresI love to visit independent bookshops one of my favourite ones is Urmston Bookshop, it has been a pleasure to visit this lovely store as an author and share the fun adventure of Green Bean & Friends. I will be popping back later in the year in celebration of a new book release later in 2019... EXCITING! Urmston is a town in Trafford, Greater Manchester, England, which had a population of 41,825 at the 2011 Census. Historically in Lancashire, it is about six miles southwest of Manchester city centre. The southern boundary is the River Mersey, with Stretford lying to the east and Flixton to the west. It's a great place to come and grab the latest bestseller, great customer service, a wide selection of books, innovative events Community: Independent bookstores are often fixtures in the communities that they serve, acting as everything from a safe space for kids to come to after school, to an enjoyable way for a group of friends to pass an afternoon. Creativity: Independent bookstores support our creativity. Many offer book clubs, author events, themed reading groups, lectures, and other activities that open the door to new thoughts and new ideas. Books have helped to shape the minds of the most creative and innovative thinkers. With shelves of great books often packed to the brim, hours can pass as you explore, ponder, and perhaps discover that “unexpected gem” that sparks your next big idea.
