Who is Green Bean?
Green Bean is a fictional character from the Green Bean Collection, a series of collectable children’s books, toys, music and entertainment productions created by author Anita Frost. Green Bean lives in the beautiful lands of Adventure Dales with five unique friends who love learning and playing together.

A household friend for children from birth, up to primary school age, Green Bean teaches learning through play, supporting social and emotional development, and promoting healthy and sustainable living.

Now, just a few short years later, Green Bean is ready to leap into action in an animated preschool TV series which we have in development. Green Bean and the friends love to play, learn, and go on adventures together.

Precious Moments Campaign
Green Bean creates a space for precious moments to be made, from the books, toys, media and to our in-person live-action events As a brand, we love to create precious moments with our fans and within our local communities with grandparents, parents, and educators. 

Our Precious Moments Ambassadors Campaign welcomes nature lovers, ECO Warriors, Bookworms, and outdoor explorers. Whether they are parents, grandparents, or early years educational professionals, we welcome them to partner with us and support children to learn, play, and develop confidently. 

We have already had several successful Precious Moments Ambassador meet-ups and continue to welcome more people to join our campaign to be part of a community who are passionate about enabling the next generation of children to learn and develop with confidence.

Learning with Green Bean
This year, we have continued to host our live interactive storytime events in libraries, schools, and community spaces, bringing the magic of stories to children across the UK.

Reading with children is one of the best ways for parents and caregivers to spend quality time together whilst supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing.

As a brand, we are passionate about encouraging children to read for pleasure – an activity which reports have shown to be the most important factor for determining a child’s future success.

Green Bean and friends have toured several libraries and schools to connect children back to books and spark imagination and creativity.  

Author and founder Anita Frost was honoured to be welcomed to host the official opening of the Shevington Memorial Park, which will be a safe green space for children and families to enjoy outdoor time together in Wigan.

Green Bean loves bringing people together from all walks of life, uniting them to help protect the planet, enjoy outdoor adventures, and enable children to have the best start in life. We look forward to another year of connecting with communities and spreading the magic and joy of Green Bean with even more families globally!
