The first few months of 2023 have been a whirlwind of growth and levelling up for Green Bean Studios. With exciting award wins, further developments in producing our animated TV series, and new ECO products being tested to prepare for market, we have expanded our team to support this forward momentum.
Having partnered with Lancaster University’s Centre for Global Eco-Innovation, PhD students conducted research on eco-toys from our collection to test the strength and durability of using sustainable materials in production.
The results were incredibly positive, proving that eco-friendly toys can be produced at scale economically and at a high-quality. Working with Lancaster University supports our continued mission to reduce carbon emissions and be a sustainable brand leader in the children’s entertainment industry.
These findings are another exciting step towards Green Bean Studios gaining B corp certification. With the proof of our ECO innovations being able to be mass produced at high-quality, as we further our investment journey with VC’s and Angel Investors who want to invest in a growing, scaleable, sustainable children’s brand.
Green Bean Studios has always worked closely with educational institutions, to support the skills gap, regularly offering internships and work experience to students from secondary schools, colleges, and universities.
We have recently hired two new marketing interns from Manchester Metropolitan University, who will be adding value to our key marketing campaign activities, including our Precious Moments Ambassadors programme.
Our children’s animated TV series is moving into the next phase of development this summer; for this we have hired a new animator to work on bringing our entertainment to life through visual storytelling for preschool children and families to enjoy.
As we’re rapidly approaching the halfway point in 2023 and reflecting on the last six months, we are excited to see all we have achieved so far and looking forward to these projects progressing over the next six months and beyond.
