Creativity! What's your creative flare!? Creativity allows us to view and solve problems more openly and with innovation. Creativity opens the mind, make some time to unleash your creativity. Keep a look out for what new releases we will be sharing over 2023 as a creative children's brand Founder, Author & Executive Producer, Anita Frost, is a mixed race Afro-Caribbean female. Though being from an under-represented background has brought its own challenges, it has also given her a unique perspective on the importance of inclusivity, diversity, and community, which are all key messages carried throughout the Green Bean stories. Anita is passionate about supporting women in business, and with an awareness that females are under-represented in many TV and Media roles, she has purposefully collaborated with many females for creating this TV series. Green Bean Studios welcomes people from a wide variety of backgrounds and circumstances, drawing on the unique talents they bring. Currently working on the Green Bean & Friends animated TV series, we employ to date: 5+ people of colour; 2+ people with learning disabilities; 2+ people from socially deprived areas; 5+ females. We fully support and value having a diverse and inclusive team and know that each individual’s skills and experience enriches our team and fully benefits our creative productions. The Green Bean & Friends series will communicate a unique creative perspective of British culture and what it means to be British. Anita’s creative approach to the stories and characters in our series will impart them with a strong sense of community and the importance of identity, encouraging children to express their own creative individuality and be proud of their identities. The six characters in the series all represent unique personalities, each having different skill sets, hobbies, and appearances, yet they all work together and support each other. Through the characters’ interactions, Anita will share a new perspective on British identity and for people from all backgrounds and circumstances to celebrate what being British is all about. Through the creative storylines, our series will reach out to a broad range of viewers in the UK, truly demonstrating that there is a place for everyone within British culture and we are all united with a sense of community. Anita has an established partnership with the Trafford Centre, where she has hosted multiple community storytime events. These early years story readings are loved by parents and children alike, featuring at theme parks and touring the UK. Anita aims to tackle important societal issues including childhood obesity, excessive screen time, children’s mental health, and climate change.
