In 2023, we officially launched our Precious Moments Ambassadors Campaign, calling for parents, grandparents, and early years educational professionals to partner with us and support children to learn, play, and develop confidently. Throughout the year, we have hosted several meet-ups for our Ambassadors to connect with each other and meet the Green Bean Studios team. These events have been a fantastic opportunity to discuss ways we can support children to thrive. Green Bean Studios founder, Anita Frost, has been in conversation with some of our Educator Ambassadors in a series of YouTube videos. In this six-part video series, Anita speaks to three children’s education professionals to hear their insights into playing, learning, adventures, and nurturing Precious Moments for parents and children to share. If you haven’t watched our video series yet then visit our YouTube channel to watch and be sure to subscribe so you never miss our new videos: The team was thrilled to see record viewings of 57,000 views for our YouTube videos after a recent PR article was picked up by multiple media outlets including Business Live and BBP Media.
Following on from the success of our Educators Precious Moments series, we will be filming our Nature Ambassadors series in the spring. If you are passionate about protecting the environment, being a champion for sustainability, and helping children to love outdoor adventures, then we would love to hear from you and get you involved in our next YouTube series. Anita Frost was honoured to receive the Queens of Heritage award at Cultureville’s Black Creative Soirée recently. This award recognises Black women leaders who have been change-makers in Manchester’s Black community. Other winners selected for this award included Sylvia Tella, a renowned singer-songwriter with two top-40 singles to her name, and Esther Lisk-Carew, who has worked in the cultural sector for 20 years. All of these inspirational Black women took to the catwalk as part of a fashion show at this year's Black Creative Soirée, an event celebrating Black creatives during Black History Month. Hosted by Cultureville and BOB Expo, this annual event was held in the stunning surroundings of Manchester Museum. The evening featured fashion shows by independent Black designers, an art exhibition featuring Black artists and creative performances by Black musicians, poets and dancers. With only 2% of workers in the UK’s creative industries being Black, there is a clear need for greater representation in this field. The Soirée was launched in 2022 to celebrate the incredible work of Black creatives in the North West, who unfortunately are severely underrepresented. The soirée provides a platform for Black creatives to showcase their work, connect with fellow creatives and network with industry leaders. Author and Green Bean Studios founder, Anita Frost, was honoured to be invited to this VIP black tie event in Green Bean’s hometown of Manchester. As a multi-ethnicity female entrepreneur, Anita has experienced first-hand the additional challenges that Black female creatives face in the world of business. This event was an important opportunity to celebrate the innovative and diverse talent that Black creatives in the North West have to offer. Supporting this annually is a way to recognise and promote the range of high-quality businesses that Black creatives are driving forward in the UK. This year has been a phenomenal success for Green Bean Studios, with team expansion, considerable funding landed, and retail expansion in our ECO product range. With a total of £180,000 funding gained over 2023, this has been a record-breaking year to celebrate for our business. With updates like this, it’s no surprise that we’re making waves in business news. We are thrilled that multiple media outlets across the UK have recently published press releases about our incredible year of business. Earlier this year we partnered with Sara from Beyond Echo PR. Sara’s knowledge and expertise has been a huge asset to support our growth and gain exposure in new markets. As a result of her skills and connections, she landed us PR with many key media outlets across the North of England. Chris Newbould of Prolific North, the North's independent news and events publisher for the digital and creative sectors, shared this press release: Other notable press releases were that of Insider Media, the UK’s most successful regional B2B media company: These are just a few of the many different media outlets to cover our business news. We are excited that the hard work and dedication of our team is making an impression and being celebrated in the business world. Welcome to the final part of Green Bean Studios’ Precious Moments series in which brand founder Anita Frost speaks to three children’s education professionals to hear their insights into playing, learning, adventures, and nurturing Precious Moments for parents and children to share. In this video, we talk about helping parents overcome fears around face-to-face socialising post-pandemic. To encourage families back into community spaces to reap the rewards of social engagement for themselves and their children, there needs to be a gentle approach – smaller group sessions to ease them back into social settings with a slow and steady approach to connecting in communities again. |
