Anita Frost Keynote Speaker | Yorkshire Sustainability Week

Anita Frost will be the keynote speaker on Monday 3rd July leading with this year's international women's day theme of Equity, ‘Embrace Equity in Sustainability’. Anita will share her insights and expertise as the founder of a sustainable children’s IP entertainment brand with protecting the environment at its core. 

Yorkshire Sustainability Week is designed to strengthen, inspire, and expand the sustainable business community across the region. Built to give the sustainability community the platform it deserves, the YSW team will be focusing on the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals throughout their weeklong series of events to increase people’s knowledge of sustainability.

The official Yorkshire Sustainability Week kicks off on Monday 3rd July until Friday 7th July 2023. The events will highlight a range of innovative projects taking place across Yorkshire and the UK, as well as showcasing progress being made to infrastructure, and the key policy makers that are leading the charge for implementing change when it comes to sustainability.

Sustainability is one of the foundations of Green Bean Studios. Having recently partnered with Lancaster University’s Centre for Global Eco-Innovation Lancaster Environment Centre, PhD students carried out research to test the strength and durability of sustainable materials from Green Bean Studios’ collection to demonstrate the viability of mass producing high quality eco toys.

This marks another exciting step on the road towards Green Bean Studios becoming B-corp certified, leading the way forwards for sustainable children’s brands that balance profits with people and planet.

By Green Bean Studios having a platform to share their passion and commitment to sustainability at the Yorkshire Sustainability Week, Anita Frost hoped to inspire other individuals and businesses to follow in her footsteps and implement creative innovations to tackle climate change.
