Regards Anita Frost Author of the Green Bean Collection World Book Day changes lives through a love of books and reading. We are a charity that operates in the UK and Ireland. The mission is to promote reading for pleasure, offering every child and young person the opportunity to have a book of their own. Reading for pleasure is the single biggest indicator of a child’s future success – more than their family circumstances, their parents’ educational background or their income. We want to see more children, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, with a life-long habit of reading for pleasure and the improved life chances this brings them.
This week across the UK I will be meeting little fans on the 9th & 10th of December for some Christmas Storytime fun. This Christmas story has become a firm favourite, with many little readers on sale at Waterstones or you can order online via Green Bean Collection. Authored by Anita Frost! The storytime session is suitable for children aged one to seven years. Our stories have broad appeal to children from all backgrounds and will inspire their imaginations through exciting adventures. Children will also have the opportunity to have their books signed on the day by the author.
This is a wonderful opportunity for fans of Green Bean & Friends to be immersed in the world of Adventure Dales and experience the characters and stories in a fun and engaging way. Live storytelling is a powerful way to inspire young children to love reading for pleasure and encourage an enjoyment of learning to support their early education.
