Today I had the pleasure to visit some new fans as an author at a Community Primary School in Trafford to read from my children's collection Green Bean & Friends.
Guess what? The team are back again this Friday to say HEY! to a new class

Waterstones Deansgate has teamed up with Green Bean Studios for a very special Storytime Session. Author Anita Frost along with Green Bean & Friends will be joining us for our Sunday Storytime. This week Author Anita Frost will be reading from the wonderful publication 'Green Bean At The Pool'. A perfect story for supporting children with understanding what happens when they visit the swimming baths. This fun-filled multi-sensory event is suitable for any child between the ages of 0-6. Green Bean Studios is a local company and the home to the Green Bean Collection, which is a range of children's books & toys which promote early years education and healthier life choices and we are delighted to welcome them at Waterstones Deansgate. Storytime Special - Green Bean At The Pool Location Waterstones 91 Deansgate Manchester M3 2BW Date and Time Sun, 28 July 2019 15:00 – 16:00 Curricula & CoIn our Employability and Entrepreneur Academies, we believe in and champion people who feel like they don’t fit in with the way things are normally done, who have gifts, talents and interests that are unique and different. We encourage people to find their own voice, and create their own niche. This is what our founding director Anita Frost did in her own life. She had a hard time fitting in at school - Her high energy and relentless enthusiasm often meant that she got told off a lot at school, as many people thought that these things were a liability.
But later in life, these amazing and rare qualities would become her greatest assets, as she funnelled them into creating what Curricula & Co is today - helping and inputting into many people and businesses, each making a mark on the world, bringing their own unique flavour! June already, does anyone else feels like 2019 is speeding by? Love the summertime, BBQ's, days out, light nights, turning my garden into an office bliss. Feels like we blinked and it was another half-term break, this time we went off to the Lake district for some walking, good foods and fishing haha well not me on the fishing side of things... Places we visited and very much recommend:
Rydal Hall: Set in a stately 17th-century mansion on 34 acres of grounds, this modest Christian hotel is next to Rydal Mount & Gardens, former home of poet William Wordsworth, and 2 miles from Ambleside. Airy TV-free rooms include tea and coffee making equipment, and en suite bathrooms or shared facilities. There's also a cottage with a kitchen, plus 3 wooden huts. Kendal: Kendal, known earlier as Kirkby in Kendal or Kirkby Kendal, is a market town and civil parish within the South Lakeland District of Cumbria, England The Apple Pie - Bakery - YUM YUM - Ambleside. Located in Ambleside, in the heart of Lake District, we are an independent, family run, Café and Bakery. Since it’s opening in 1975 The Apple Pie has grown in size and popularity, but we still keep our traditional values at heart, serving fresh and quality products everyday to regular visitors, passing tourists and loyal locals. Walks Toooooo many to pick from, we did local walks around Ambleside and Lake Windermere. Check out other walks here: Click |
