Celebrating 100 Storytime Events with Green Bean and Friends

The past year has been packed with exciting achievements and milestones to celebrate for Green Bean Studios. We are excited to share that we have reached 100 live interactive storytime sessions, encouraging children to read for pleasure across the UK with fun family reading events.

At our storytime events, children get to experience the wonderful stories from the Green Bean Collection brought to life by multi award-winning author and founder, Anita Frost, with live readings from her books. In addition to this, there are fun and engaging activities to get kids excited about reading and love books from a young age.

Far from being just author-led events, other reading ambassadors of the Green Bean Studios team have got involved by reading at the storytime sessions, bringing their own unique storytelling magic to share with families.

Since starting these events, their popularity has increased, with all of our events in 2023 being fully booked. This is a testament to the power of great storytelling and how author engagements in local communities are invaluable for helping more children to read for pleasure.
