With September fast approaching, now is the ideal time to get organised for children going back to school. Whether your child is just about to start school, or will be moving up to the next year group, we have plenty of fun, educational books, toys and games that will help them feel confident and prepared whilst supporting their transition to the new school year.
Our environmentally friendly range of learning resources support children’s early years learning, having been specially designed including elements of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) statutory framework as set out by the UK government.
Books to Help Prepare Children for Starting School
Starting school is a big change in a child’s life, with many adjustments for both parents and child alike. Our board books help children develop key skills in communication, reading, writing, maths, and creativity, preparing them for their formal education throughout their lives.
With Green Bean’s Colours, children will learn to recognise different colours with the bold illustrations and engaging layout of the book. The book helps stimulate imagination and enables children to understand the world around them.
Green Bean’s Shapes gives early learners a great introduction to shapes, aiding spatial awareness, pattern recognition, communication and creative skills.
Support children’s mathematics skills with Green Bean’s Numbers, teaching number recognition through observational learning. Each number comes with isolated objects to help reinforce children’s learning and understanding.
Learning the alphabet is a fundamental part of developing children’s reading and writing abilities. With Green Bean’s Alphabet, your child will develop their communication and literacy skills, giving them a great foundation for their early education and the classroom environment.
Our books make a lovely gift for young children and can be purchased as a Board Books Gift Set – the perfect addition to a child’s book shelves.
